Wrightsville Beach Storage is the area leader for its high quality facility and features, but it’s our people who truly make the subjective difference above the rest. Jimmy Vass was born and raised in the greater Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area with a passion for boats and the water. Starting his career early with Seapath Marine at a youthful 14 years old, he worked his way up from Dockhand to Dockmaster. Over his two decades of experience there and after realizing the need for a “secure marina off the water with easy access to I-40”, plans developed and in 1998 the gate opened to the boatyard he had imagined. Starting with 107 slips, Wrightsville Beach Storage expanded to its current capacity of 197 slips by year 2000.
Along with the dedicated assistance of his wife, Melinda, Jimmy Vass continues to realize his dream of having the area’s best built and maintained storage facility while offering owners, renters and customers the first class services they expect … even beyond expectation!
